Valentine’s Day Math Activities

Happy Valentine’s Day! Just a little late in posting these “sweet” little Valentine’s themed math activities, but they can actually be used all year long. So first up, is the Valentine Match Base 10 activity. This activity has a built in self checking feature which makes it ideal for math centers. Assembling this activity is super simple. Just print the bears and cut. You’ll have an activity that will last for years. Students match the base ten blocks to the bears and then turns the square over. Valentine Collection Bag FREEBIE!

Kyle (fabulous artist) created these cute little bear and rabbit for decorating Valentine’s Day bags for collecting cards.  Aren’t they just adorable?  Your students will have tons of fun creating their very own collection bags.  Simply copy the bear or rabbit for each child and have them color and glue the pieces on a paper bag.  Super simple! Mitten Match Winter Themed Activities

Mitten Match Winter Activities! Our little preschoolers and kindergarteners just LOVE the mitten match winter activities. They are especially popular during the cold, chilly months of winter. These activities are great for either independent practice as an activity in your literacy centers or as an activity for direct instruction. Winter Sight Word Freebie! 4-In-A-Row games are one of my favorites. There is no assembly required. Just print and laminate (if you’d like), grab a few bingo chips, and then you’ll have a fun activity that your students will love for years to come. The fast-paced nature of the game also allows for many practice opportunities. How to play Playing the game is super simple. You’ll need two players with 10 of the same colored bingo chips.
